We had a very positive experience at The Oxford. The staff was accommodating & friendly, the service excellent and the room very comfortable. The hotel was quiet and the restaurants excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Quaint, yet very cosmopolitan.

This hotel is in a great part of town. A number of fine restaurants are within walking distance. The staff was sincere and eager to accommodate. We put them to the test on the day our daughter readied herself for her wedding. Everyone was kind and helpful. The bed was extremely comfy and I slept very well. Not something one can usually say when staying at hotels!

Felt like a Princess.

From the moment I saw the hotel I was in love. The service from the bellman to the front desk staff was completely professional yet warm and inviting. I\’m from Denver originally but hadn’t seen all the renovation in lower downtown. Walking into the room with its high ceilings, custom drapery, roll top desk and flat screen tv on an. antique dresser to a bed I had to vault to get into is my kind of place. I’m sure they can accommodate the more senior traveler with a step stool to get into the beds. This traveler will definitely be returning!

Amazing time!

Very unique hotel. Great beds and excellent service. We loved our stay and would recommend it highly. The martinis in the hotel bar were the best. The towncar drivers were so helpful and made us feel very welcome and gave us excellent advice.

My husband and I got married here almost 3 years ago, May 21, 2005. To this day, our friends will every once in a while just mention (without any prompting from us) how we threw the best wedding they’ve ever been to. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the food was fantastic (especially the salmon) and the surroundings elegant.

We stayed in a Victorian deluxe room, and it was very spacious – large enough to provide plenty of getting ready space for me and my bridesmaids. I loved the antique bathroom, and the room was richly decorated, and it wasn’t loud even though it was on 17th Street. The hotel surprised us by throwing in the “romance” package (see their website) so when we returned from our wedding, there was chilled champagne and a rose petal path to the bed.

The Oxford will always have a special place in my heart.

Very nice hotel, great location.

The Oxford Hotel is the oldest hotel in Denver and it is also the coolest. Rooms are awesome, hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, just a wonderful experience.

A gem in Denver

I recently traveled to Denver for a business trip and stayed at the Oxford Hotel. A total delight! The service from the minute that I arrived was outstanding. I was fortunate to receive an upgrade upon my arrival and the room was amazing. For someone who stays in hotels every week, a unique, beautiful hotel room with actual pieces of antique furniture (not the same old cookie cutter hotel peices) made my trip away from home inviting and enjoyable. The hotel restaurant, McCormicks – also outstanding, as was the service.

One of Denver’s Best

Our stay at the Oxford Hotel was, in a word, outstanding. Convieniently located in the LoDo district in the Downtown Denver area, The Oxford is within walking distance of a lot of establishments that people have come to expect and enjoy in Denver. Just steps away from the 16th Street Mall, we enjoyed nightlife, great eateries, and the theater. The staff of the Oxford Hotel is very helpful and friendly, but not so friendly that they hover, if you know what I mean. Hotels.com got a good rate for us and I will be using them again.

Wonderful Place to Stay

I have to say that this was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms were lovely, the staff was wonderful, and the beds were even more comfortable than my own bed at home. My traveling companion and I joked that we would like to come back to Denver just so we could stay another night at the Oxford Hotel.

Outstanding Experience

The deluxe room was spacious and felt like home rather than a hotel room; comfortable bed, lush bed linens, beautiful victorian furniture, draperies, etc.; an authentic period experience (except for the 40-in flat screen TV and Bose iPod player!); unlimited, fresh brewed coffee is served on each floor all morning in real coffee cups. Staff is first rate; they have an old-fashioned procedure of leaving your key at the front desk. Great LoDo location. I don\’t usually comment in reviews, but this hotel deserves the mention! Our best Denver Downtown hotel experience so far!!

Great Staff

I arrived early (9am for a 3pm check in) and the Front Desk Manager was extremely helpful and upgraded my room free of charge so that I could check in. Everyone was very professional and friendly, a great hotel experience.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say Thanks to you and your staff for a wonderful visit to your hotel. My wife and I vacationed in Denver last week and stayed at The Oxford. From the time we checked in to the unfortunate time we had to check out and come home we were treated like royalty by your entire staff. Everyone was friendly, the valets were quick with our car and folks behind the desk were always smiling and pleasant.
