General Information

How many rooms are at The Oxford Hotel?
          The Oxford has 80 historic rooms.

When is check in and check out?
          Check in time is after 3pm and check out is at 12Noon.

What do I need to check in?
          All guests will need a credit card and valid form of ID to check in.

Where do I check in?
          You can check in at The Oxford Hotel front desk located at 1600 17th Street, Denver, CO 80202.

What is the cancellation policy?
          Cancellations must be received by 3pm MST 2 days (48 hours) prior to your to arrival to avoid the fee of one night’s room and tax.

I need to make changes to my reservation. Who should I contact?
          If you made your reservation through a third party (Expedia, Hotelstonight, etc.) you will need to contact the booking agent/website that you went through in order to make any changes. If you booked through The Oxford’s website, or made your reservation by calling the hotel, please contact a reservation’s agent at 800.228.5838.

Do you provide ADA-compliant accommodations?
          Yes we do have ADA accommodations. To reserve an ADA compliant room, please email reservations@theoxfordhotel.com or call 800.228.5838 to book direct.

Does the hotel allow smoking?
          The Oxford Hotel is a 100% non-smoking hotel. A $500 fee will be applied if smoking is detected.

Are pets allowed at the hotel?
          Yes! The Oxford Hotel would love to welcome your dog. There is a one-time $50 pet clean-up fee. Unfortunately your other furry friends will have to stay home, as we currently only allow dogs up to 60 pounds. These restrictions do not apply to service animals.

What is the Oxford’s address?
          1600 17th Street, Denver, CO 80202

I’m coming from Denver International Airport, what is the best way to get to the hotel?
          We are located only a block away from the University of Colorado A Line which is a commuter rail from the airport. If you are driving you can find directions here. Taxis, Uber and Lyft are also reliable modes of transportation to the hotel.

Is parking available at the hotel?
          We provide valet parking available at the front entrance of The Oxford Hotel. Overnight parking is $45 per vehicle.

Do you have a house car?
          The Oxford hotel is happy to offer you a ride in our courtesy Escalade within two miles of the hotel.

What is there to do in the area?

Is The Oxford an historic hotel?
          Yes, the Oxford is actually Denver’s oldest hotel! Built in 1891 The Oxford has seen Denver change from a sleepy cow town to the major metropolitan area that it is today. If you’re interested in learning more about our history please visit our History page.
 

Hotel Amenities

What is the Destination Amenity Fee?
          The Destination Amenity Fee is $20+ tax and provides guests with several amenities from the hotel. If you are interested in learning about what the Destination Amenity Fee covers, please visit the Services and Amenities page.

Does The Oxford Hotel offer room service?
          Yes, we do select menu items all day. Breakfast is offered from 6:30-10:30am and full day items are offered from 10:30am-10pm. Alcohol can be served after 11am.
