The
Holiday Doll's Tea Party was founded by Frances Melrose of The Rocky
Mountain News, who suggested the event as a replacement for the
Denver Dry goods tradition of her childhood. For over 50 years,
Denver's premier department store hosted a formal tea for children
and their dolls. Since 1991, The Oxford Hotel has carried on the
tradition, serving formal tea with sandwiches, scones, crumpets and
more to participating families.
 Make it a weekend shopping getaway and check those gifts off your list! Our downtown Denver lodging makes an ideal holiday shopping headquarters. All guests are invited to use our complimentary Cadillac shuttle service to stores and other downtown destinations. |
