Doll's Tea

The Oxford Hotel
For more than 50 years, The Oxford Hotel Doll's Tea Party has been one of Denver’s favorite holiday traditions. Experience this joyful winter celebration this year on Sunday, December 2nd at LoDo’s most historic hotel. The Oxford Doll's Tea Party is a classic tea with hot cocoa for the children and a light snack of tea sandwiches and assorted treats*. Children are encouraged to bring their dolls to the tea. The highlight of the Doll's Tea Party is a whimsical ballet performance by the Arvada Dance Company designed especially for the children, who will have an opportunity to meet the ballerinas and take complimentary photos with them. Denver Center for the Performing Arts

With several theatres in the Denver Performing Arts Complex in downtown Denver, this non-profit organization delights all ages with performances throughout the season. Productions range from classics like A Christmas Carol and Irving Berlin's White Christmas to more modern shows like The SantaLand Diaries. 
The Grand Illumination

The annual kick off to the holidays is GRANDER than ever this year! Join Union Station as we light the building and our brand new 40 ft. tall outdoor Christmas tree, as well as launching the inaugural Denver Union Station Holiday Market with the Denver Flea. Complete with live music and holiday entertainment throughout the evening, this is one event you won't want to miss.

Ol' Saint Nick makes his annual trek from the North Pole to Union Station every Sunday starting November 25. Visits with Santa take place in the Great Hall and are free/open to the public. 

Denver Christkindl Market

Carriage Rides in LoDo

Take an enchanted ride through the streets of Lower Downtown courtesy of one of Denver’s oldest carriage operating services: Irish Rose Drafts. Their horse-drawn carriage rides are available on Friday and Saturday evenings; custom routes can be arranged with advanced notice.
Downtown Denver Rink at Skyline Park

Throw on your cold weather gear, lace up your skates, and enjoy an invigorating afternoon at The Rink at Skyline Park. This downtown rink is free to the public, with a $2 fee for skate rentals.
Winter Brew Fest

The Winter Brew Fest in Denver celebrates craft beverages from around Colorado and the United States. Benefiting the Swallow Hill Music Association, this two-day event at the Mile High Station will include beers from over 40 breweries, plus live musical performances.
