Since 1891, The Oxford Hotel has welcomed discerning travelers drawn to authentic experiences and enduring hospitality. Whether you're visiting for business, celebration, or leisure, you'll discover thoughtfully restored accommodations, exceptional dining, and the timeless charm that continues to define one of Denver's most beloved destinations.
Opened in 1891, just fifteen years after Colorado achieved statehood, The Oxford Hotel has witnessed Denver's transformation from frontier town to modern city. Original architectural details, from the Victorian terracotta façade to Art Deco accents added in the 1930s, reflect more than a century of history carefully preserved. Guests can sip a cocktail in the legendary Cruise Room, Denver's first bar to open following the repeal of Prohibition, unwind amid thoughtfully restored accommodations, and explore nearby Union Station and Larimer Square, where the city's rich past remains woven into daily life.
Some meetings deserve more than a standard setting.
The Oxford offers seven distinctive meeting and event spaces, each defined by its own character, scale, and historic detail. From focused board meetings to elegant receptions, every gathering is elevated by a sense of place that feels both distinctive and memorable.
Original architectural details, attentive service, and more than a century of hospitality come together to create an experience your guests will remember well beyond the final agenda item.
Romance comes naturally in a setting defined by history, character, and quiet elegance. Start the day with brunch at Urban Farmer, then spend the afternoon exploring LoDo or unwinding with time at The Oxford Club & Spa, just steps away. In the evening, settle into the glow of The Cruise Room for cocktails before returning to a quiet night in. Whether you're marking a special occasion or simply escaping together for the weekend, it's a setting that invites you to slow down and reconnect.
The Oxford Club, Spa & Salon has long been an extension of the guest experience. Located just steps away and open daily, it offers hotel guests complimentary access to group fitness classes, preferred pricing on spa and salon treatments, and a full menu of massages, skincare, salon services, and Hydrate IV therapy.
Afterward, return to a room defined by rich drapery, plush linens, and the quiet character of a historic hotel, designed for true rest and restoration.
Here, wellness is not an add-on to the stay, but an essential part of it.
